ISEALCO professionals undergo an 8-step installation process over 2-3 days depending on the application type and area size. Preparation makes up 70% of the application process, this is to ensure that a quality and long lasting epoxy floor coating is achieved each and every time.
These steps consist of the following and can be tailored to your specific surface and needs if required:
8-STEP PREMIUM EPOXY FULL FLAKE FLOOR SYSTEM
- Diamond grinding is carried out until a CSP 2-3 rating is achieved using dry grinding with H class vacuums.
- Crack management and surface corrections take place.
- Final corrective grind and surface clean prior to the primer coat.
- Primer Coat Application - There are 3 product choices based on the demands of the surface and moisture assessment results.
- Epoxy body and colour coat is applied to a specific thickness using a square mentre per litre formula.
- Flake coat is broadcast into the body coat until rejection stage and the entire floor is covered in flakes.
(On average, a standard double garage floor takes approximately 15-20kg of flakes, 3-4 boxes).
- Upon our return the following day the floor is scraped flat and excess flakes are removed.
- A UV stable top coat is then applied over the flakes to leave a durable surface finish (polyaspartic).
