It is paramount to remember that without the correct installation being carried out to the manufactures guidelines, the performance and longevity of the coating itself will be heavily compromised. When installing your floor the following factors are measured and taken into consideration: The material percentage of solids, litre per square meter ratio, solvents or no solvents (low VOC), humidity, dew point, weather, concrete conditions, cracks present within the concrete, moisture present in the concrete, and location of the surface (water/moisture impacts). These are just a few points of consideration, however these factors, plus a handful of others, are critical to a successful application. All surfaces that we apply our epoxy coatings are prepared to a CSP 2 or 3 rating to ensure not only a chemical bond but also a mechanical bond, increasing the coatings bond strength. This is achieved with our carefully designed and tested surface preparation techniques, crack, flaw and joint management system which is accompanied with our diamond grinding techniques using H class vacuums.

ISEALCO professionals undergo an 8-step installation process over 2-3 days depending on the application type and area size. Preparation makes up 60-70% of the application process, this is to ensure that a quality and long lasting epoxy floor coating is achieved each and every time.
These steps consist of the following and can be tailored to your specific surface and needs if required:

8-STEP PREMIUM EPOXY FULL FLAKE FLOOR SYSTEM

- Diamond grinding is carried out until a CSP 2-3 rating is achieved using dry grinding with H class vacuums.
- Crack management and surface corrections take place.
- Final corrective grind and surface clean prior to the primer coat.
- Primer Coat Application - There are 3 product choices based on the demands of the surface and moisture assessment results.
- Epoxy body and colour coat is applied to a specific thickness using a square mentre per litre formula.
- Flake coat is broadcast into the body coat until rejection stage and the entire floor is covered in flakes.
(On average, a standard double garage floor takes approximately 15-20kg of flakes, 3-4 boxes).
- Upon our return the following day the floor is scraped flat and excess flakes are removed.
- A UV stable top coat is then applied over the flakes to leave a durable surface finish (polyurethane or polyaspartic).

ISEALCO's Polyaspartic top coat is a two-component, low VOC, aliphatic polyaspartic coating designed as a UV stable topcoat. This product offers a rapid return to service system over properly prepared substrates.
It is colour stable and non-yellowing, exhibiting excellent UV resistance.
